and expresses with beauty, feeling and dignity the yearning of
every people.
We have a musical opportunity to dissolve racial,
national, and ideological barriers.
Artists from around the world have come to the
Central Coast for five annual Monterey World Music Festivals.
Please come join with us in the fall of 2002 and share

As
a gesture of global healing in response to the tragic events
of September 11, the board of the Cultural Council for Monterey
County presented the Monterey World Music Festival free of
charge September
14, 15, and 16, 2001.
